Moving stress

How quickly times passes by! Seriously, 3 april already? Time has gone so quickly the last few days with us moving into our brand new home. Ha, but we love it! It’s such an improvement from our previous rental.

 

We went from this:

Of course, still a lot of work to do (when I say a lot, I mean, a lot!):

*treat and paint walls (but the plaster has to be completely dry first)

*arrange stairs to the attic

*choosing curtains

*choose adequate lightning

*remove the two big humps of dirt in our backyard

*level the garden

*designing the garden

*add a terrace so we can quickly enjoy the good weather

*waiting for the city to approve our building permit for our carport/bike room/storage room (which will be build in cedar. Lovely! Too bad we have to wait 4 months!)

*treating the cedar so we can enhance the natural process of ‘greying’ and we don’t have to wait 10 years for it to achieve a beautiful grey without stains.

 

So, do not worry, you’ll get to see plenty of pictures of our process. Yes, I still have to take pictures of how the inside looks currently. But in the meantime, here’s some other eye candy so you get paid for waiting :)
