Office make-over

Wat een geweldige make-over. Van opslagplaats naar hippe werkplaats, volgeladen met kleur en persoonlijke prulletjes. Iedereen wordt toch spontaan gemotiveerd en productief enkel en alleen door hier te zitten? Nu enkel nog mijn baas kunnen overtuigen ... ;)

I'm sure everybody gets motivated and productive just by sitting there ..

Maarten De Ceulaer

"Wat gebeurt er met een lege koffer, behalve veel te veel plaats innemen?" - was de vraag die de Belgische designer Maarten De Ceulaer zich stelde voor zijn afstudeerproject. Hij vond het principe koffer opnieuw uit en gaf het plaats in een nieuwe wereld. Netjes gestapeld vormt hij er meubels mee, die net door hun kleuren en samenstelling een plaatsje in je huis moeten veroveren. 

Welkeen zou jij kiezen?

"What happens with empty suitcases, except taking up too much valuable space?" - was the question Belgian designer Maarten De Ceulaer asked himself for his graduation project. He reinvented the concept suitcase and used in a different world. Neatly arrangedn he transforms them into furniture, which, through their colors and form, should definitely have a place in your home.

At home with Hanne Graumann

I've found this beautiful house tour at Frenchbydesign. 

This beautiful home belongs to Hanne Graumann, stylist and clothes designer. Minimalistic but still cosy, her flat is filled with black and white furniture and design pieces. I especially love the big sculptural standing lamp in her living room!

Onderstaande sneak-peek vond ik op de blog van Frenchbydesign. Dit mooie appartement is het geesteskind van Hanne Graumann, stylist en eigenaresse van een kledinglijn. Minimalistisch, maar toch gezellig ingericht is haar hele huis gevuld met zwart en witte meubels en designstukken. Ik ben vooral fan van de grote zwarte staanlamp in haar woonkamer!

Copenhagen. Still mentioned high on my 'must visit'-list. If I finally have booked a plane ticket to the high north, I'd definitely consider to stay at STAY. Yep, a hotel (with apartments!) named STAY, filled with beautiful furniture designed by Danish design company Hay. Why book an expensive hotel when you can have a whole apartment for the same price!
